LongTail Video has an immediate opening for a highly-skilled business analyst in our New York City headquarters. In this role, you will work directly for LongTail’s CEO to manage our key business metrics and to develop new business development relationships. Our ownership-based culture means everyone in the company has end-to-end responsibility for their projects. As a member of our company, you will be exposed to all facets of our business and will have the opportunity to learn everything there is to know about running a growing company from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
- Own, manage and measure all key performance metrics for the business
- Lead business critical projects to drive revenue and growth in key performance metrics based on trends in the business
- Create, build and manage the company’s financial budget and forecast
- Evaluate, negotiate and implement new business development opportunities with 3rd-party partners
- Work on cross-functional teams to agree on business requirements and site direction
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree from a top-tier 4-year university
- 2 to 5 years experience of working for Internet or technology companies
- Ability to assess and analyze complex business problems
- Outstanding quantitative skills (including expert Excel skills)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Motivated, self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
